Outpatient Mentoring Services

Our Outpatient Mentoring Services at Her Hope Kentucky offer trauma-informed, evidence-based, survivor-led one-on-one meetings that provide compassionate emotional support and healing. Through our Life Skills curriculum, mentees engage in a progression of workshops—The Three Levels of Trauma and Healing, Gaslighting and Abuse, Relationships and Boundaries, Safe People and Safety Planning, Goals and Journaling, and Breaking Generational Cycles—that equip them with the insights and tools to reclaim their lives. In addition, our specialized Support Groups address the unique challenges of Trafficking and Exploitation, Sextortion and Sexting, Childhood Sex Abuse, and Addiction, creating safe, understanding communities where survivors can connect, share, and find hope together.

Program Entry

Our Program Entry process ensures every woman finds the right level of care and support from day one. We maintain an active network of vetted residential programs across the country—allowing us to match each individual with the environment best suited to her unique needs and circumstances. While we build toward opening Her Hope Kentucky’s own residential home, our team coordinates referrals, advocates for seamless admissions, and provides ongoing guidance so that every woman gains timely access to safe, specialized housing and services tailored just for her.

Addiction Services

Our Addiction Services at Her Hope Kentucky begin with a personalized recovery plan tailored to address all forms of substance abuse, combining evidence-based counseling, peer support, and goal-setting strategies to foster lasting sobriety. In partnership with the court system, we also facilitate referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), advocating for each participant’s legal and therapeutic needs to ensure they receive structured treatment while fulfilling court-mandated requirements.

Trainings

Her Hope Kentucky delivers unique, impactful presentations designed to illuminate the raw realities of sex trafficking and exploitation for those on the front lines. Our expert-led sessions teach participants to recognize subtle and overt indicators of trafficking, equipping them with safe, effective strategies for intervention and referral. To date, we’ve trained teams in four states—including Attorney General’s offices, the FBI, local law enforcement agencies, and multi-agency task forces—ensuring officials have the awareness and tools they need to protect victims and pursue justice.

Community Awareness and Education

Her Hope Kentucky partners with churches, businesses, legal firms, and families to deliver wrap-around education and support services that strengthen entire communities. Through interactive workshops and resource fairs, we equip congregations and local organizations with the knowledge to recognize and respond to trafficking and exploitation, while providing families with practical tools—safety planning, healthy-boundary coaching, and access to victim‐care referrals—to protect their loved ones and restore hope.
